MY INK FEEL JOY

The ink flowed steady page by page
A closing act,the final stage 
The walls of SHS know my signs 
Now echoed freedom in the skies

Pens fell silent,time stood still 
My heart was light, yet strong with will 
WASSCE,the mountain i had knows 
At last was done,the seed was thin

I thought of nights when sleep was thin
When doubt and pressure pressed within
Yet every fear, each sleepless fight 
Had let me here to morning light 

My classmates cheered, their voices loud
A family formed a joyful crowd
The journey's weight was hard to bear 
But pride was shining everywhere 

I walked outside,the sun was near 
A future calling, bright and clear 
And in that moment,i could tell.
I'd faced the test,i would do it well
